Gisel Brito is a Partner with Silverberg|Brito, PLLC. She was born in Cuba, but at the age of 10 moved to Chile with her family. At 18 years old Mrs. Brito came to the United States to attend college at South Carolina State University on a full athletic scholarship. For the next four years Mrs. Brito represented her school on the tennis court and in the classroom. She obtained the Student-Athlete of the Year award for all four years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Mrs. Brito traveled to South Florida and joined the Florida International University College of Law community. During her years at FIU College of Law Mrs. Brito was an active member of the FIU Trial Team, the president of the International Law Student Society, and a member of the Cuban American Student Bar Association.

Upon graduation, Mrs. Brito entered the field of insurance litigation and represented homeowners throughout the state of Florida in their property insurance claims. Mrs. Brito’s practice expanded to assist those companies that assist homeowners at their time of need, mitigation/restoration companies.  Mrs. Brito has assisted homeowners and mitigation companies through pre-litigation conflict (representing homeowners in recorded statements and examinations under oath), but her main focus area is fighting the insurance companies in the courtroom.
