Steven Silverberg is a Partner with Silverberg|Brito, PLLC.  He was born and raised in Maryland, right outside of Washington D.C. Mr. Silverberg attended college at the University of Maryland where he represented his school on the lacrosse field and in the classroom. After graduation from the University of Maryland, Mr. Silverberg made his way for warmer pastures and “took his talents to South Beach” where he attended St. Thomas University School of Law.

While at St. Thomas University School of Law Mr. Silverberg was involved in many organizations including: Staff Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review, Active Learning Instructor for Property I and II, Mock Trial Team, Cuban American Student Bar Association, and Research Assistant for Professor John Makdisi.  During Mr. Silverberg’s first year he received many honors including Cali Book Awards for the highest grade in his class for Property II, Contracts II, and Civil Procedure I. While in law school, Mr. Silverberg obtained a certificate in taxation and completed two years of Voluntary Income Tax Assistance. Mr. Silverberg graduated 4th in his class out of 200 with highest honors, Summa Cum Laude.

Upon graduation, Mr. Silverberg took a similar path to Mrs. Brito and entered the field of insurance litigation and represented homeowners and mitigation companies throughout the state of Florida in their property insurance claims.  Mr. Silverberg assisted homeowners and mitigation companies through pre-litigation conflict (representing homeowners in recorded statements and examinations under oath), but his main focus area is fighting the insurance companies in the courtroom.
